Lizzie McCorquodale - Still Life Inspired by Peploe

After obtaining a degree in Illustration from Edinburgh College of Art in 1986 Lizzie McCorquodale spent 18 years in the South, painting murals, illustrating, teaching and bringing up her two sons.

She now lives by the sea near Berwick-upon-Tweed and draws inspiration from her surroundings to paint seascapes and large abstracts. Lizzie has exhibited throughout the Borders , Edinburgh and London.

“I am perhaps best known for my atmospheric seascapes. I also love gardening and really enjoy painting the flowers I grow.”
