The main enamelled detail has been textured with punches that show through the beautiful deep, turquoise enamel.
The enamel is gloss finished and the silver is oxidised a dark grey, contrasting beautifully with the colour.
Ancient technique of Basse-taille with contemporary design.

Designer/Jeweller Caroline Finlay works from her studio in Fife , and makes silver and enamel jewellery inspired by the coastline and Western Isles of Scotland. Trained at Grays School of Art,Aberdeen. Alongside teaching Caroline exhibits her jewellery in the UK, Europe and USA.
