Fliss Esk

Fliss Esk is an abstract artist and musician from Northumberland, making improvisatory work on canvas and paper. Her works link sensory influences with the freedom of improvised music. She is fascinated by the uncertainty and tension of creating music live; her work explores this process in the same way, using colour and line to express dynamics, point and counterpoint.

Fliss’s work has been exhibited in galleries in Quebec, Palma, Berlin, Zug and Strasbourg. Closer to home, her pieces have been selected for the Northumberland Open Exhibition and the Lady Waterford Prize Exhibition.
