‘My Father's Books' are artworks celebrating my father's classic literary collection. Each piece is a handcrafted original presented in a heavily moulded charcoal frame. I see them very much as 'time capsules' connecting my father to specific periods in his life and at the same time connecting me to my childhood.

'Self taught', my work is a mix - photography, digital as well as the more traditional pencil and brush.  The trick for me is to not make any of these elements railroad the others. Less is more.

I'm inspired by feelings, colour and texture and I love a drama.
